第一课时(Part B&C

教学目标:

1.能正确地听、说、读、写单词和词组mean, danger, smoke, litter, park, grass, quiet, touch, a public sign, keep off.

2.能听懂、会说和会读日常交际用语No smoking, No littering, No parking, Danger, Do not touch, Keep off the grass, Be quiet.

3.能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型What does this sign mean? It means ……

4.使学生明白保护环境、维护公共道德的重要性,从而人人遵从各项法则,共同建立和谐社会。

教学重点:

1.能正确地听、说、读、写单词和词组mean, danger, smoke, litter, park, grass, quiet, touch, a public sign, keep off.

2. 能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型What does this sign mean? It means ……

1.教学课件

2.教学挂图

3.磁带与录音机

4.单词卡片

5.学生自己的生词卡片

教学过程:

Step1:Greetings.

Step2:Free talk

Talk to the students:

1. Welcome back to our school. Nice to see you again.

2. How are you?

3. What day is it today?

4. How do you spend your summer vocation?

 (通过让学生介绍自己的暑假生活,来唤起他们用所学过的英语来描述自己生活的兴趣。做到充分的课前热身。)

Step3: Presentation and practice

1. Teach: public signs

a. 整体呈现Part B挂图

 T: Do you often see these signs?

 T: We call them ‘public signs’.

b. 呈现单词public signs

 Learn : public signs

2. Teach: No smoking

a. 屏幕呈现医院外观,然后一个人病房在抽烟。

 T: Is he right?Why?

(让学生自由发言,说说为什么不能在医院里吸烟?同学们在讨论的时候,进一步加强孩子们的公共道德意识。)

 T: What can we say to him?Which public sign can we put here?[

学生找出No smoking的标志

b. 出示标志卡片

T: What does this sigh mean?

It means ‘No smoking’.

c. 出示单词卡片No smoking

Learn: smoke , No smoking

3. Teach: No littering

What does this sign mean? It means ……

a. 屏幕呈现教室场景,然后一人随意扔垃圾

T: Is he right?Why?

(因为老师的追问,学生们积极思考,乱扔垃圾不对,为什么?在思考的过程中,自省自身,从而达到加强学生环境保护意识的目的。)

What public sign can we put here?

学生找出No littering的标志卡片

T: What does this sign mean?It means ‘No littering’.

b. 呈现单词卡片No littering

Learn: litter , No littering

c. T: What does this sign mean?

S: (引导学生回答) It means ‘No littering’.

提问几遍以后呈现句子What does this sign mean? It means……

Learn: mean , What does this sign mean?

d. 师生问答,生问生答练习What does this sign means? It means……

4. 同法教授 No parking, Do not touch, Danger, No eating Or drinking, Keep off the grass, Be quiet.

(学习公共标志的过程,也是学生自我反省的过程。通过这一堂课的学习,学生不但知道了,如何面对违规的行为,同时也规范了自身。)

5. Listen and repeat

Stp4. Drill

a. T: (出示标志卡片)What does this sign mean?

b. 1. Play a game: 学生准备好自己的卡片,老师说出单词,学生迅速举起相应的标志卡片,看谁又快又准确。

2. 屏幕显示一些违规的场面:

a. 有个学生在草坪走

 T: What public sign can we put here?

 b. 电脑房里有人抽烟

 c. 图书室里有人在大声说话

 d. 教室走廊里有人乱丢垃圾

 e. 学校操场上停了辆自行车

(新的课程标准指出教师要通过创设真实生动的情景,激发学生自主学习的热情;通过引导学生参与课堂教学活动,进行积极的学习探究。这些十分贴近学生生活的场景,既能进一步建立学生们的公共道德意识,也让他们把本课所学的公共标志熟练地运用到现实生活中去。)

Step4. Assign homework

1. 抄写要求掌握的四会单词。

2. 运用所学地单词和句型自由交谈。
