第一课时
教学目标:
1.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词:mean, should, shouldn’t, litter, park,smoke.
2.能听懂、会说和会读单词和词组:public, a sign, grass, quiet, touch, keep off.
3.能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型:What does it meam? It means you shouldn’t
4.使学生明白人人都应保护环境并努力美化环境,这样才能使我们的生存环境更加美好。

教学过程:
一. Everyday English:
1.Introduce Jack Hi, my name is Jack. I’m four years old. I’m Ben’s cousin. I usually go to the park at the weekends. And I always have a lot of questions. Teach:always question cousin
Nice to meet you. How are you? How old are you?
What do you do at the weekends?
I…. Last weekend,I saw many public signs on the wall in the park.二.Presentation and practise:
1. Read and answer.
T: Look at the blackboard.
Q1: Where is Jack now?
Q2: What does he see?
Q3: What is Jack doing now?
Q4: What are the questions about?
Answer the questions.
2、Try to read 读一读
Today is Saturday. Ben and his cousin, Jack, are in the park. Jack is only four years old but he always has a lot of questions. He sees some public signs in the park. He is asking Ben some questions about them.

听课文,选出Jack看到的标志
(出现公共标志牌:park/eat/drink/touch/litter)
T: They’re public signs.

4、Watch and answer
看动画,分别说说以下标志的含义

T: Can you read them?
学生能朗读:No parking. No eating and drinking. Do not touch.
Park以前所学的意思是公园,在这里的意思是停车。

5.T: Now we are in the library. What can we see on the wall?(Show pictures)

板书: What does this sign mean?
学习这句话,讲解mean的意思及其中ea的发音。再次强调助动词用does及其语法意义。
T: It means “No smoking”.
板示: No smoking. 学习这句话。
让学生回答smoking 的动词原形,smoke,并再次复习它的变化规则。
T: What does this sign mean?
S: It means “No smoking.”.
T: Yes. It means you shouldn’t smoke.
板示:It means you shouldn’t smoke. 并学习这句话。
讲解 shouldn’t=should not ,should为情态动词,意思为应该,后跟动词原形。
6.同法学其他词语
三.(提供场景)Look and say:
1. 让学生分组讨论标志的含义。
2.排学生分组操练,根据图意用What does it mean? It means you shouldn’t … 进行问答。
3.然后两两问答。
